[GnuWin32-Users] Installation Problem

I'm trying to setup the horde project on a Windows 2k server, running Apache, php & MySQL. Horde requires gettext, so I've found and tried to install the GnuWin gettext, and also the libiconv, as this is a required module (?). I've installed the exe, however, horde is still not recognising that gettext is installed. Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers James

What do you mean by "not recognizing"? What is the error message? Does it occur when compiling or when using horde? Hi! I'm trying to use tar to backup my files on a tape device. The command tar -c \.tape0 x:dir_to_backup results in the following error message: tar: cannot open -: bad file descriptor tar: error is not recoverable: exiting now. Everything works if I back up on a normal file: the command tar -c mybackupfile.tar x:dir_to_backup is succesfull. Tape0 is the right symbolic name of the tape device... How can I use tar to backup on tape? Thank you

At present one cannot use direct tape output when using the GnuWin32 port of tar.
